New Canker Sores Product – Canker Sores Begone Stick

Somewhere around 6 months ago or so, I was contacted by Robin Barr, the creator of Canker Sores Begone, who told me of a new product she was working on and asked if I’d like to try it.

Now, some people write automotive blogs and get to test drive the newest and baddest muscle cars before they come on the market.

Some people blog about tech gadgets and get to play with the newest toys before they even get revealed at CES.

Me… I get a front row seat for new mouth goop.

Hey… I’m totally fine with that.

As someone who’s gotten canker sores my entire life, I’m always up for trying something new, and with the track record that Canker Sores Begone has built over the years, I was frankly honored that Robin would include me in her testing.

So what is this new product?

Canker Sores Begone Stick

Click the pic for the canker sore stick!

It’s a stick.

And from the looks of things, it’s taking over the Canker Sores Begone mantle, as it says on the website that the Canker Sore Liquid Drops are no longer available.

How does it work?

Think of it like Chap Stick for your ulcer. Make sure and dry your ulcer with a cotton swab or tissue, then rub over the surface of it with the Canker Sores Begone Stick.  And Voila, that’s it.

While I can’t claim that it’s made the length of my ulcers any shorter (though many people claim it does), I can say that it doesn’t sting at all and gently coats the ulcer while it cools it with a rather tasty minty flavor.  Seriously, if you hate the medicine taste you get from most mouth ulcer medications, this is your jam. It’s like the Altoids of ulcer medicine.

It lasts up to 30 minutes or an hour depending on where it is and what’s going on in your mouth, enough to get you through a meal or to chill it out afterward.

I can definitely recommend the new Canker Sores Begone Stick to anybody who wants a quick, convenient, and all-natural way to treat the pain and discomfort of canker sores.

Quick disclaimer: Robin used some of my feedback in a quote on the back of the packaging – which I think is pretty cool.

I’m always looking at new canker remedies and you might be interested in The Canker Spanker. Best stuff I’ve used EVER. I’ve never has success with stuff you put directly on a canker, this stuff is a pill. Here is there website TheCankerSpanker.com – Best

I haven’t used the Canker Spanker, but I’ve included it in my book.

So far without any doubts – Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% is the best.

Yeah, I’m a huge fan of that stuff. I always seem to be running out of it. 🙂

I’m a long term sufferer of cankers. I tried it all. Avoiding citrus, avoiding certain toothpastes, food journal (avoidance), reducing stress, increasing sleep, and countless of remedies from kanka to salt walter. Over the years (35 now) my canker outbreaks became more frequent and severe. Instead of one canker, I would get three at a time. They would last for weeks. The pain was unbearable. I became so used to getting them that a week or so without a canker was rare.

I visited a couple of naturopaths, one that didn’t listen and the other that did. The one that did put me on to PHOSPHORUS which was something that I had not come across in all of my years researching cures and preventative measures.

I was skeptical yet hopeful. After a few weeks of taking phosphorus without a canker sore outbreak, I noticed a difference. Weeks turned into months. During one of my most stressful times of the year, I might add… nothing. Not one single canker. It’s now been about 8 months and I have had 1 canker in that amount of time and the phosphorus actually reduced the pain severity and the time it took to heal.

I now take liquid phosphorus weekly. Usually 3 drops on my tongue every Friday. However, I’ll take more (3-5 drops or as needed) if I begin to feel a potential canker sore that could be coming on.

In short, for me, phosphorus has been a miracle. I urge you all to try this. When I say I tried everything, I really mean that I tried EVERYTHING.

I hope you all find something that works for you and find some peace. Cankers are brutal to suffer through. I know your pain and wish you all the best!

    Take care.
